Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

This becames a limited operation if Iran agrees to a ceasefire offer for when the "USA and Israel have achieved all their objectives".
If Iran keeps on fighting, then this becomes a forever war.

Mike Johnson's world salad can't hide that this is a 'war'.
The word 'war' itself has become a political taboo, so countries now use 'Operation', 'Limited incursion', 'surgical strikes', 'special operation' blah blah.
What are Orwellian world we are already living in!

But who would have protected the airforce?

Unless its really modern one. 4.5 and 5th gen fighter planes and in good quantities.

The idea is to have a balanced military

So you have extensive radars and EW, A A.D network, AWACs In the sky, satellite support, Air Force, ground forces etc etc etc

It all works together as multiple fingers but one punch

If you have weakness in a area it just allows a enemy to target that area

Even if you don't have 5th gen aircraft, a solid air force made up of even JF17s can be effective if you know your limits and support your air force with a ground radar and awac network and support them through A.D

Even if you are on the backfoot it gives your military protection and space and time to act

I felt a sigh of relief looking at some of the replies (from Indian Hindus). There is still some sanity left

Cheese sticks? My doctor will want to discuss my cholesterol issues with me.

Been a long time since I've had Korean food. Used to be a great place right outside the main gate at Ft. Huachuca.

Then they ask why IRGC is bending them over

Iran was the only real foothold that China had in the middle east, and that may be gone if the IRI falls.

None of the other countries are allies that China can count on. Iran was the best, that China had managed.
Iran is still the best and the best ally of china in the ME.

Looks like this thing may come to a negotiated end in 2-3 days.

If so, Iran will now dominate the region. It has proven what it can do.

GCC will now seek to seriously reorientate their strategies

Something very smart and tactful so far they have fired barely 4-5 Sejjil and less than 10 K-1s, may be few K-4s, while the enemy's shield is almost gone. They learnt and adapted very quickly.

A credible analyst saying if Iran doesn't exact a prohibitive cost via this war then another attack could be launched six months later.
Bro, every credible forum member would say and already said the same when war started.
If you look around they do not have credible western address to speak on at the first place, i do not see serious peace talks with current american administration and they do not have incentive in sleeves as they act as israeli administration, Iran has no choice then to fight untill political climate in america changes.
