Surely Iran has realized it needs to make a serious knockout blow to Israel already to incur losses on them to make them regret assassinating Khamenei and degrade their military and strategic assets? (the attacks on the US THAAD radar network has facilitated this so Israelis have less warnings on missile impacts)

I think you are confusing mass with precision... For those who can understand can see clearly that Iran have switched to tactical strikes... Because they have noticed that attackers are running out of military targets in Iran...
And now bombing civilians will be very counter productive...as in it will rally Iranian's together even more....And they will be switched on from regime change to fight of survival and that my friend is the problem in itself...
Israel is getting pumbled and NETENYAHU very smartly out smarted Trump ... He sold Trump that he is calling his reserves hinting that boots on Iranain ground... However he committed IDF to Lebanon now acting like his ground troops are committed... And US is looking elsewhere for ground troops.. it's very clear without ground troops there can't be any change is status quo.. and in this case the world economies are getting effected unlike Ukraine theatre...
Its a stall in both ends offensive objectives and no hope of defensive forces for any breakout ...

Israel's strategic assets includes all of their desalination plants and power plants too, so Iran must man up and prepare to take them all out. Then take out their tech-related industrial areas, weapons plants, Ben Gurion, Nevatim airbases and all sites that feeds back to the IDF warfighting capability.
