Your hope and "enthusiasm" for all comments on this topic has not been proven by facts. The US aircraft carrier is 350km from the coast it seems. They feel safe enough to do that.

Lets accept that some of Irans systems have proven to be ok, ie her balistic missiles. Irans home grounds IADS systems have proven to not be that good, only being able to bring down slow moving drones only and not a single jet fighter anywere "at all".

Then can you offer your analysis and reason why the US carrier feels safe enough to do it? Does this mean Iran's stock of Hypersonic ASBMs have all really been taken out?

Japan is so far away on the other side of the globe. Iran has no missiles or drones that can reach Japan. And Japan is not a party to this war and bases there are mostly aimed at China, NK and Russia, so irrelevant to discussing this ME theater of operations.

I don't think a Tomahawk Cruise missile can fit on an MQ9.

The missile is 5.56 meters feet long and 1,300kg. Even on the centerline it would be tricky...but I guess doable if forced.
