Technically all were losses, they were Iranians. Iranian serving men. Atleast IRGCASF is has now established the rule that Iranian life matters. Gone are the days of Islamic dove policies of Khamenei. There are losses yes but we are fighting hyper and great power led alliance of 20 countries with globally best tech, resources, finances at their disposal. Minus the US it was an absolute victory for IRI but I will take the in bound stalemate with not even an ounce deterred IRGC.

I hope so, because I'm getting a bit worried for Iran right now.
On social media, many well-wishers for Iran would really love to see the IRGC sinking a carrier, so I hope this can be realized, for everyone who likes to see a bully getting punched back in the face. Especially that crazy Trump.
I think the IRGC is planning something big, so the saturation attack takes more time to plan to get it right before launching the operation, I presume.

I agree it would have this sort of effect. And this would be to Iran's advantage. Iran doesn't depend on an open Strait. Its enemy does. If Iran is all-in, then they should be truly all-in with whatever chips and levers they have.
The optics matter also. If USA now resorts to ground invasion when they had originally planned a 3 day max decapitation victory, then ALREADY Iran has forced their hand.
Maybe this is Iran's strategy and everything else hitherto is designed to draw them in. Who knows?
Certainly, any wet dreams of monarchists and kurds of a local rebellions should be crushed quickly as these are zero value enemies - nobody in the west will bat an eyelid for 10k dead kurds or monarchists.
I think Iran knows its limitations, has planned for this, and is quietly exerting control over the escalation chain.
