Yes just like in Operation Eagleclaw US choppers went down in desert to difficult windy conditions, right?

That was an operational disaster. Eight helicopters were sent but only five arrived in operational condition. One had encountered hydraulic problems, another was caught in a sand storm, and the third showed signs of a cracked rotor blade. Helicopters are inherently less reliable and prone to accidents compared to fixed wing. In the 5,000+ sorties, many of which are carrier based, the only losses so far have been due to 'friendly fire'.

Not only because of revenge but it's in their interest that this conflict goes on for as long as possible.

Good move. There are times you need to open yourself and communicate to solve issues and there are times you need to close yourself and protect your security until it is achieved. Being emphatetic with the enemy, opening yourself to evil would only result in them framing-decieving you and taking you down afterwards easily. They will resupply with interceptors and reattack while the bm numbers of Iran and its defenses goes down at a faster pace.
