That's about right. Gulf War 1 was in 1991. Gulf War 2 was in 2003.

Yep, Pakistan/Saudi alliance is solely for containing israel. Every Saudi knows that they cannot expect Pakistan to fight any Muslim country on their behalf. They do not even want to fight Iran anyway.

Based on the sentiments of Saudis, they are more than happy for Iran to throw the US out, as nobody else, including they themselves can do anything about it.

At this point they can as well keep the strait closed until all of the sanctions are lifted. Its unfair level of bullying that Iran has been living through for 40 years anyway.

They should not give 2 hoots about the global economy, only power speaks power in today's world. Negotiations, treaties, inspections, etc, all else are hogwash.
