I'm sorry but twitter analysis should always be taken with a shed load of salt.

I've been watching Al Jazeera and some other Arabic news stations - their leadership is very much deploying the "we are innocent victims of Iranian aggression" narrative. A few twitter bots and idle chatter in the teashops is not going to change that reality.

Iran cannot - and is smart enough to realise this - rely on Gulf states to actively or even passively "support" it.
