E6 Mercury is a Communications relay and strategic airborne command post aircraft. Provides survivable, reliable, and endurable airborne command, control, and communications between the National Command Authority (NCA) and U.S. strategic and non-strategic forces.

It was intercepted over Gaizantep, there is no way it wasn’t deliberate. Probably targeting Incirlik AB.

It’s clear that Irgc do not heed Pezeshkian or even Iranian civil gov at all, so Pezeshkian’s apologies are worthless.

A little offtopic but why change from being the 'minions' of America to the 'minions' of China? And contrary to what many here may believe, it is not always terrible to be on the good side of America, Kissinger's rubbish statement notwithstanding. Many countries post WW II have lifted millions from the destruction from that war and generations in those countries have prospered and indirectly many poor countries' labor/expat were also lifted out of abject poverty. The GCC is just one example. Some east Asian countries another. Even Europe knows which side of the bread to butter.

Having said that, the old order is ending especially if Trump indeed represents the long term American strategies, which doesn't spare anyone if concessions are not given by even the friends.

Turkey won’t join the war like Azerbaijan didn’t. It’s not a popular war and Iran has a Turkic population.

There is a radar unit in Turkey that Iran wants out of commission that is being used by US to support Israel.

It’s not about the airbase. Or else they would first attack Jordan more since it’s airbases are functioning. It’s about taking out the last radars that can help with early warning targeting for Israel.

Confirmed this E6 is headed OB towards theatre.
