He is not Zionist. I know this crowd personally. But he's falling in a trap. He doesn't need to be hero for Saudi Arabia and GCC. And last thing he needs is to stick himself into internal affair of Lebanon. This would result in a horrible civil war across Lebanon - Syria - Iraq but I'm confident Hamas will use its influence to prevent this scenario.

This is where Hamas's close ties to both sides comes in handy.

Netanyahu should be Iran’s main target. He’s the one who’s been demanding a war on Iran for 30+ years. And he’s the architect of the destruction of the whole region. With him gone there can be at least a hope for peace.

I wonder if Iran can find him and eliminate him.

I put it to you that he is most probably not dumb or "a joke" or particularly "idiotic". Even when he says things that we here would immediately flag as ignorant, he is probably intentionally covering up his actual level of cognition.

His obfuscating style of speech may be very deliberate. He misdirects, confuses and disrupts a questioner, feinting out of the path of incoming challenges, and often answers a question that is different to the one being asked. In this way, he controls a room and controls a narrative. He should not be underestimated and is a very dangerous individual, quite the psychopath actually.

Hamas's influence across Arab world and Gaza genocide are a big part in why GCC/Saudis have refrained from striking at Iran. Trump will back off and Muslim world can pick up where they left off. Unless Israel tries pouring fuel on fire and fueling the war against American wishes.
