Dumb bombs means they have to come in directly overhead to bomb, making the planes dropping them easier to shoot down. Dumb bombs are also inaccurate, and even carpet bombing can't make a dent on Iran's underground missile bases.

Nuke sites entrances are buried with soil and will take days of heavy machinery operations day and night to excavate and access them

They are inaccessible both for Iran and anyone else

The bombing of the school has greatly damaged America's own war narrative and united the Iranians. The bombing of the school was almost certainly a mistake and such things happen in war. Many instances are there including, if one is old enough, the bombing on the Chinese embassy in Belgrade in the late 90s.
