Pakistan has no real ouit for its financial problems until it is allowed to renegotiate the Chinese terms of so called cpec. you cannot even breakeven if you have to pay humongous no-compete project costs, pay prime+3% type of interest for project financing (also chinese) and provide guaranteed returns on chinese owned portions of the ouitput. They really did a number on you.
ok
whatever you say man .
thread was about pakistan improving its energy independence with verifiable data and you rambled on about the chinese .

He's not wrong bro, Chinese energy projects in Pakistan produce very expensive energy due to most of them relying on imported fuel and because of the "guaranteed capacity payment", these investments have effectively turned into debt. Not to mention for repairs or maintenance, equipment must be imported from China. So even though we may have more energy, our capacity payments went up 450% to 2 Trillion PKR, making the increase in supply useless. This isn't all China's fault, the many political fiascos we've had dulled CPEC's potential. But now, we need to renegotiate those payments, convert certain projects to domestic fuel.

This isn't all China's fault,
yep we built the energy infra but not the economy to use it . but his point was diffrent. rambling about chinese and such, and the orignal thread was about us gaining energy independence but mods merged it .

convert certain projects to domestic fuel.
and this was what the orignal thread was about gaining energy independence , so doing exaclty what we are supposed to be doing
