Pakistan will not resist against China's, Iran's and Turkey's demands to stay out of this war because MBS wants to sacrifice Pakistani soldiers.
There's also no appetite in Islamabad to walk into this quagmire of war.
Your assessment is absolutely off here.
I’ve tried my best not to discuss Pakistan in this thread, however, since others have been giving their opinion, I want to give mine.
An analyst I listen to says that Pakistan has been trying to mediate between Iran and Saudi Arabia. There are also some claims on X that Chinese trucks have been allowed to drive through Pakistan into Iran with provisions.
Pakistan is a country with powerful lobbies that support both Saudi Arabia and Iran. So, the rulers have to be careful not to alienate either of them. Therefore, they seem to be trying to play both sides. The majority of the population is supporting Iran in this war. However, we need to keep in mind that the regime in control is not representative of the people. Their personal interests and historic ties are with America and Saudi Arabia. So, no one can be certain or take for granted that they’ll stay neutral forever.
