There is no one coming to help the Americans lol. Israeli navy wont even come. Gulf navies are trapped in their harbours and whaterver the USN throws at the strait it will get massacred with russian and chinese targeting. Most of irans anti shipping missiles are likely intact and held deep in reserve just in case. People talking about taking kharg island but i think us is planning naval landings in chabahar and surrounding areas to destroy all ASHMs and drone launch sites

Does Iran have troops deployed there ?

I would think Iran would try to deploy artillery rockets here

US putting troops there is also to draw fire away from GCC & Strait of Hormuz

He would subject our troops to danger though as Iran doesn't have to carefully select targets like it does in GCC

Shale oil is viable above $60

At $95-$100, they will try to bring wells online but that’s multi month process and won’t go overboard and try to bring everything online because if prices then drop (ie war over) now you are creating over supply and will have turn off some wells, which is something you don’t want to keep doing to oil wells as it effects the health of the well.

I would say, trust IRGC, so far they have not disappointed and show any weakness and with available info/Intel and resouces their strategy is working good.

I would not like to even think that Iran has not plan for this and wider boots on the ground scenario.
