And to add insult to injury, it was not even thought out, debated and declared by Congress. That would have opened up the issues to the public, and the administration had to build up a credible case to start a war. But the hush-hush manner means there is no strong public support. Republicans will likely lose the November elections and may lose the 2028 one too if things go wrong. Like it happened in 2008.

He has destroyed whatever respect we had left on global scale. I feel like we are still licking the wounds from Iraq war and now this. we lost all the allies and the power will clearly shift to global south. $ will be hurt and he has hasten our decline as a global power. European and Western governments were on board with regime change the first 72 hours…..until Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz and it was clear the nation wasnt going to surrender.

From that point on, everyone became against the war.

Funny how fickle Western governments once they realize their economies are being held hostage by Iran

It will not end sanctions to fund the rebuild.

Without rebuild - there will be massive public anger against government.

War posture ensures national unity - until Iran’s enemies are eliminated through attrition.

Iran can only fund rebuild if it can conquer some land.

Iraq should get Kuwait and end to pseudo Kurdistan.

Iran should get Bahrain and UAE.

Turkey should get Syria.

Iran and Turkey need to agree on the fate of Jordan and Saudis.

Not to mention if the US is pushed out of the gulf and is unable to rebuild those bases, that means a deep decline for the petrodollar in years to come which will lead to a collapse in the standard of living for most Americans, most of whom are already living paycheck to paycheck.

Yes that is inevitable, all of my family members and friends we talk about on 9/11 has destroyed US from inside.
It can potentially lead to civil unrest and chaos. when you mix it with gun culture, violence will come up in every nook and corner.

The country needs accountability, all classified 911 reports should be declassified and americans need to know the truth on the true story behind it.
