Well Chinese were the first to complain when their workers in Pakistan were attacked, now we are doing something about they want us to stop?

I think they are concerned for their investments in Afghanistan

Chinese have always been peacemakers in the region.

I am sure they understand all options have been exhausted by Pakistan.

I can't see any example in history where a country has given a 20 year grace period to a threat.

This is just in one year. Is this sustainable? Does this give investor confidence?



taliban knew what they were doing. They have been colluding with India since 2008 to destabilize Pakistan.

They were banking on the 5th column to provide them with strategic space. Groups such as PTM are directly funded by India. taliban ideologues were financially incentivized to assist the taliban and its proxies.

Meanwhile - regular airline activity over Afg continues
Yesterday flights went to and from Kabul to Sharjah, Astana and even Islamabad while private and even unregistered King Airs were flying between Afghanistan and also from Afghanistan to Tajikistan.

Not sure what sort of “operation” is letting this be

Blocking infiltrations and supply on the border. There are reports taliban have been pushed back 7km.

NATO bases and equipment to be destroyed, it is not their property.

Drone storage bases destroyed. These were being accumulated to attack Pakistani airbases with a swarm. This is what ultimately forced their hand I reckon.

Anyone or anything else that wants to attack Pakistan.

I would say there is plenty of evidence to suggest they have done the above.

I find it frustrating that China keeps calling for mediation when the job is half done. I am sure they wouldn't entertain their people being massacred for 20 years. I don't understand what is left to discuss or mediate over.

Only US has openly backed Pakistan.

I agree, runways should be knocked out and a no fly zone imposed until regime change as a precaution but this will choke out supplies to their civilians.

If they stick with a mow the lawn approach for the next 12 months they will never will be able to stockpile them. I am sure they are being watched.

Explains why they don't want a ceasefire or mediation. Leave this open ended for continuous ops.

Personally I would go for scorched earth, bomb out all their runways, cut the electricity to kabul and kandahar and start carving through their leadership until the regime is toppled.

I've just made a quick map using the Map Chart app.

Pakistan could consider taking some of the territories in Afghanistan in very small chunks over two-three decades instead of doing any large scale invasions of the country.



As Afghanistan does not recognise the current border with Pakistan, it gives Pakistan the right to draw a new border with the country.

The most important thing is to do so in very small chunks so as not to draw international attention. Similar to the salami slicing that China is doing with India.

I think with China fully supporting Pakistan's territorial and sovereign integrity, along with having a Defence Pact with Saudi Arabia, Pakistan is well positioned to expand its border into Afghanistan.
