'Im a simple man'That's the price you pay to ride in luxury. Me being a simple old man, have 2 Toyota Tacomas as well as my F-150.
My guess is, if there has to be an operation to rid Strait of Hormuz threat, that will involve extensive heavy bombing in the coastal areas that may have missiles or drones capable of hitting shipping traffic. Any introduction of marines will only happen when there is high certainty that there are no more reasonable threats. It will not be like D-Day landings in WW2. These bunker busters that were dropped is just an initial probe. They will probably see if the attack pattern on shipping has changed and modify their plan accordingly. If Iran uses longer range missiles, the size of area to be sterilized increases. That is why I said it is 'ugly'.You think US would/could be more brutal than the Soviets in Afghanistan? Doubt that
That didn't save the USSR nor will it save the US when they see Iranian militias being supplied with topclass russian, possibly Chinese weaponry
And the Iranians themselves are no less capable
I dont think brutality alone can save a ground invasion

What is your idea of 'Securing Strait of Hormuz' in the most efficient way? i.e. with least amount of fighting and destruction, if possible. This is what a certain ultra-nationalist refuses to understand.
Wrong.'Im a simple man'
Has three gas guzzling pickups.
Ok
Ending the war on Iran and lifting sanctions on the country. What is your idea of 'Securing Strait of Hormuz' in the most efficient way? i.e. with least amount of fighting and destruction, if possible.
Given the current facts, I don't thing there is an efficient way. So long as Iran has the ability to launch one missile or lay one mine or fire a single artillery shell, the Strait will be at risk. What is your idea of 'Securing Strait of Hormuz' in the most efficient way? i.e. with least amount of fighting and destruction, if possible.
starry nights over occupied Palestine, 2 Zionists killed, rescue operations continue to search for other victims
