Well it seems this meeting ruffled a few feathers.
Do not quite disagree with the messaging though, your loyalty is to Pakistan, not Iran.
The way it was conveyed though, might leave some room for improvement.
This then leads to a larger conversation where that's why actual people representation is needed so these issues get resolved either in the parliament (if it was actually worth the building it is in), or through a political mechanism, not through dressing downs from the chief at GHQ.
At this point it seems the meeting was more for prior events, rather than preparing the ground pre-emptively for any future geopolitical action...or is it? Time will tell

Yep, exactly. The clerics went for a meeting with questions and such; they got an hour long lecture instead. Should have sent DG ISPR or Naqvi. He probably lectured them like a commander gives orders to soldiers, not like talking to civilians
god i hope not , they will leave us with another mess

This is not as simple as it seems when it comes to Pakistanis, We are very emotional creatures when it comes to our believes and religion.
So, a more calm and diplomatic approached is needed, if not done already.

Field Marshal Asim Munir visits Kurram to celebrate Eid ul Fitr with troops
Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Saturday said terrorists operating from cross-border sanctuaries in Afghanistan would not be allowed to destabilise Pakistan.
The remarks came during his visit to Kurram, where he celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with troops and officers, according to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The CDF offered Eid prayers alongside soldiers and prayed for the country’s peace, stability and prosperity.
During his interaction with officers and troops, he extended Eid greetings and lauded their high morale, professionalism and unwavering commitment to defending the nation.

Agreed, times like these CDF needs to act more like a diplomat and less like a soldier. Many loyal Pakistanis are Shia.
I like Munir, he shows decisivness and bravery, works well in war but those qualities sometimes do not make for good diplomacy.

Thing is, it may be Munir saying these words, and we have had our fair share of good and bad chiefs but I can easily imagine all of them uttering these words. Really makes my heart swell with pride, one of the very strengths of our army is it's bond with the people and the peoples bond with it's army.
If that remains unbroken, Pakistan will always stand.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir on Thursday reiterated Pakistan's commitment to providing complete support to Iran and the United States in reaching a peace agreement following their earlier two-week ceasefire.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Field Marshal Munir called on the prime minister with both leaders reviewing the progress of Pakistan’s mediatory efforts aimed at achieving sustainable peace in the region.
"The leadership appreciated the restraint demonstrated by all sides and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to facilitate and provide all out support to both the sides to arrive at a peacefully negotiated settlement," it said.
It added that both expressed satisfaction over the de-escalation achieved so far and underscored the importance of maintaining the ceasefire and ensuring continued restraint by all parties.
