Its an empty threat, they will target some cities at max if it comes to that but will stop once IRGC messes up Jewarabian power grids which are Tick-Tock for IRGC.

IRGCASF is doing exactly what they did in 12 day war. Tit-for-Tat strikes. Qeshm desalinization plant for Bahrain. South Pars => Jewarabian hydrocarbon+Haifa, Bushehr/Natanz for Dimona, Clustered and heavy warheads for civilian strikes, Kurdish BS was answered with Hezbollah entry. Their plan seems simple.

Consistent missile fire shows Defiance , Tit-for-Tat means zero Deterrence. A force not deterred against a hyper military and great power led alliance means enemy's strategic quest for achieving war goal is a failure.

This is either you are with us or against us. This will become their playbook to go after the countries who will either stay neutral or refuse to join their coalition.

Clarification - "world leaders" actually mean the spineless Arab monarchs. Looks like they will form some sort of coalition. Win win for Israel - get the Muslims to fight each other.

I was talking about the plan. We cant match the hyperpower's firepower from air. Deterrence against US alone is military action against bases combined with larger political and economic strikes which IRGC is doing. Its a long war.

Sure feels like Israel is taking a much harder pounding now then it did at the start from Iran

i would say more then 10% of missiles seem to be getting through, this will only increase, really does feel like the open secret here is that Israel's interceptor ability is degrading faster then Iran's offensive missile capability but western media wont be reporting this....

I get iran is establishing detterence and showing its capabilities by doing retaliatiory strikes on oil infra but it is going to pull everyone into this war. Us and isreal are currently isolated but if iran keeps targeting and doing permanent damage to gulf oil infra nations might not have a choice but to intervene to make sure they have some capacity left for their own needs. Israel knows this and thats why its targeting iranian oil infrastructure
