I’m not sure what exactly is the issue here. I’m posting US military deployments on a US defense thread.🤷🏻‍♂️

When the country is destroyed, feeding 92 million becomes difficult. And, if your adversary imposes restrictions on what you can do, and those restrictions are militarily enforced like a no-fly zone, it just makes people very desperate over time.

Look at Iraq - it's no longer recognised as a nation state but a failed state instead. The same is true with Syria, Libya and Yemen.

Sacrificing a nation is easy but it's very hard to build a nation.
 
I believe that it will be difficult for American members to provide updates in the highly charged Iranian section, some risk getting speed-limited while contributing there. So, American perspective shall be separated from that section. But decision in this regard rests with the PDF management. American members should consult brother @RescueRanger about how to discuss war in Iran. He is a good Moderator and facing a charged debating environment these days. So, make his job easier by cooperating with him.

I think this thread is a perfect conduit for sharing information from the US perspective - @AZ_HighCountry and @dbc can are great mods and manage this thread well.

I would say to avoid arguments - we can keep Iran thread sterile for Iranian perspective and this thread can focus on American perspective - obviously would like feedback from @AZ_HighCountry on this - your call sir.

Also remember no sharing of anything that isn't public domain.

Ford crew deserves a nice long rest. Incredible deployment from them with operations against Venezuela and Iran.

Trump's political objectives are not really clear . He sounds somewhat confused to what to actually achieve here
Total regime change or an end to nuclear & ballistic missile program.
However, listened to Gen. Brad, that guy carries clear cut military objectives in mind and looking at publicly available data, he's very much on-track.

Trump and Hegseth are a mess, but our top military leadership are highly competent at their jobs. They aren’t playing games.

The military has a clear set of objectives and they’ve performed at a very high level. Given the scale of operations, they’ve been fantastic.

Agreed.

As posted a number of pages back, because some of the Americans (not @dbc or me) have been thread banned (not our call nor will we request the section mods over there to reconsider. It's their section.), posts pertaining to the conflict are being allowed here and in this thread only. Have already posted we will not entertain multiple threads on the same subject.

No voice regarding this conflict should be suppressed. The only other caveats are to keep the discussion related to the conflict, no spamming, no trolling, absolutely no religious discussions, and most of all, share only that which is in the public domain. And even then, I'd use caution.
