Iran is a fortress surrounded by mountains. It’s an absolute nightmare to invade. Can we also discuss the logistics of getting all those troops to Iran. Like i said my friend, it’s desert and mountains so the logistics would be a nightmare for American troops. You can’t just parachute 82nd airborne into a very heavily militarised country like Iran Chabhar port or not. And I do not see an allied land border, just territories the US barely controls in Iraq? To come through there.

I seriously think, despite what everyone in this thread is saying, the Arabs are posturing and don't intend to join any offensive. Its a scare tactic.

Qatar just seems to be the first to realize that its not working, and will make things worse.

I don't believe the Gulf Arabs will join the war in any real capacity.

Question remains of how many USA Troops are in Centcom HQ in Qatar as of now, actively involved in operations ?! Airspace and land is one thing, but so is the operations center itself.

I believe Saudi and UAE will definitely join the upcoming attack on Iran. They have been pushing for this conflict for a long long time, in concert with the Israelis. I don't believe their denials. Israel, Saudi and UAE want Iran completely neutered in order to feel safe and secure. They also owe it to the Americans who are currently doing the heavy lifting. There is considerable unrest in American commentary over the lack of any Israeli or GCC participation in the upcoming land operation.

The sense of patriotism in the US is strong. There is no strong reason for a civil war in the US. Trump is just an annoyance at best. And he's funny and keeps people entertained.

The Americans are like us Iranians. We want to rip each other apart over politics, but when push comes to shove, we all get united over the same nation.

If Iran is making unrealistic demands to end the war, why not also include israel going back to the borders of pre-1967, the removal of all illegal settlements in the occupied lands, and the removal of all US bases in the Gulf? Aren't these the main goals of the Iranians?

I forgot to add. Special military operations have a tendency to end up dragging on and becoming a clusterFuck.

I doubt they could clear the tunnels that easily though. They have already cemented the tunnels, in the literal sense. They have literally poured God knows how much concrete on those tunnels.
