Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Did I say TRT is unreliable or did I say this statement from. EU is untrue:

Fyi...

So yeah... The guff about EU airspace being "closed" to the US... It's just simply not true.

This is classical smoke and mirrors.

So, you're right.

Targeting of an American A10 S aircraft in Khuzestan.

Another one .. mentioned as "targeted", probably like the Blackhawk Helicopter that was targeted today (but managed to escape after damage), otherwise they would have clearly announced that it was downed or destroyed.

Good to see that a lot of US jets and planes are coming under attack since yesterday. A nice improvement in the AD performances, at least in terms of targeting.

Would be nearly impossible for Iran to down a A-10 using a manpad or 358. Those things are basically flying tanks and can take direct hits. Iran would need a decent size AD missile to knock it out of the sky.

in the first days they were launching 500+ strikes per day, now only 70

wear and tear, depleted armaments, lack of targets or ineffective BDA etc...

Khuzestan is THE SAME SIZE AS WEST VIRGINA

you need some tribal warlords to have manpads sitting and waiting or an AA team that survived the intial sweep.
willing to sit there for the entire conflict fully fed, clothed and looked after in the wildreness in hundreds , supported by twice or three times support people to run the supplies and ensure all the required weapons are working, food, fuel, medicines, medical cover, leave of absence and highly motivated in the harsh enviroment.,

not to mention, be prepared for air assault from a super power enjoying air superiority bringing all the air assets because its ego has been bruised.

but hey, why should an armchair commander and commentator sould bother to think all this.

intercepted by (very expensive) US SM-3

we are seeing greater use of SM-3 to replace Arrow-3, which is effectively depleted now

No news on the twin Sejil-2 launch. I’m assuming those went to HVTs locations and were censored. It’s hard for even THAAD or SM-3 to hit Sejil-2 due to its rapid ascent and rapid arrival.

Babak claims that the A-10 suffered minor damage as well.

Its been 7hrs since the news of the F15 being downed broke. Surely, in that time these blokes could have made it to the "Affected" area on mountain bikes by now ?

How long does it take to drive to that area, and disperse these type of soldiers across the area ?

It’s been 12 hours actually…

no, it's a large mountainous province and now it is night time, he will be hard to find

best approach now may be to follow and ambush the US rescue aircraft

Dispatch locals for manhunt. These guys knows the terrain and may find the fallen pilot.

You need to find that pilot. Dead or alive.

Syria seems to be taking a turn quickly. Several attacks on israeli outposts reported just now.

For what its worth if they do wake up, they should hopefully be better than Assad. Would be another headache for zionists and lighten the weight a bit on Iran and Hezbollah if they do join in.

Absolutely not.. they were design to resist ground fire not surface to air missiles

A helicopter is by its nature a weakly protected and soft skinned target ( except for a AH-1 or Apache of course). The fact that a MANPAD could not take down a helicopter which should be quite easy does suggest a design flaw in the MANPADs that Iran operates. I can understand a fast jet not be downed, but a helicopter should be taken down by a MANPAD...
