The soldiers themselves won’t, but the govt does. The probably disburse a small fraction of that to the soldiers and redistribute the rest into their coffers

Not true, I have to talked to someone that was deployed to the DRC if I remember correctly he received something like 12 lakh pkr for a 6 month deployment, that's 2x his yearly basic pay and this was back in 2021
yeah haha thats a smaller fraction of of it. Consider that the UN pays $18k per year per soldier.

It's about half, not bad considering most countries don't pay soldiers beyond their average salary for these mission.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday highlighted country’s long-standing contribution to United Nations peacekeeping operations, saying the country has sent more than 235,000 personnel to over 48 missions since 1960, including more than 500 women peacekeepers.
In a statement on the International Day of UN Peacekeepers, observed annually worldwide, PM Sharif described Pakistan’s participation as a source of immense national pride, noting that the country currently ranks as the fifth-largest contributor to UN peacekeeping missions.
He praised the sacrifices of peacekeepers, including over 4,400 personnel who have lost their lives in the line of duty, of whom more than 181 were Pakistani.
“Pakistan takes immense pride in its martyrs and in all those who continue to serve with exceptional professionalism, commitment and resolve in promoting peace, stability, and protecting vulnerable communities across the world,” he added.
