If it were Iran, Russia's influence would be greater than China's. Even India has strong influence over Iran.

But China may be the only major power that hopes for the unity of the Islamic world in the Middle East, and Russia also hopes for the continued division of the Islamic world. Its position is similar to that of the United States.

China doesn't have any historical grudges against the Islamic world....we are natural allies.

There are over 50K troops in Middle East with another 10-20K coming in the next few weeks.

It’s possible they just throw these soldiers in the meat grinder rather than try to build up a massive force that can be targeted by Iranian missiles.

I think Trump is obsessed with taking the oil. So his focus will be the islands and Iranian coastline. UAE will likely help with taking the islands and trying to reclaim them for Iran.

No, Trump just gave a 48-hour notice of new targeting for air war. That won't happen if ground war is the plan. Unless he intentionally wants to mislead, which is possible.
