Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

At this point, countries that bought Chinese arms, regardless of what, are wondering if what they paid for are any good.

The last time Iran looked seriously at China was for J-10 a while back. Iran asked for J-10C and China allegedly would only offer J-10A.

Plus Iranian pilots were used to Russian or American ecosystem so that would be adding a third country’s technology into the airforce creating a bigger logistic mess.

Nonetheless, the problem with China and Russia has always been that they viewed Iran’s military purchases as a carrot to use in their negotiations with the West. There is an infamous contract in the 90’s where U.S. paid Russia to not deliver fighter jets to Iran. Unfortunately for Iran it was stuck with the worst non-aligned powers of all time.

Again, no Chinese radars were delivered to Iran. For someone who served in the Air Force you literally believe everything you read on MSM without a lick of research. Suprising.

As a result, some reports suggest that Iran has already acquired Chinese SAMs—most likely the HQ-9 and possibly the HQ-16 variants. The HQ-9 is a hybrid that marries the Russian SA-20 (specifically, the S-300 PMU-1 and S-300 PMU-2 variants) with higher-end command and control, radar, and seeker technologies. These higher-end technologies bear similarities to US and even Israeli assets, which Beijing has likely learned about through espionage.

We will find out soon enough, after Iran surrendered.

Most of those reports are from weird Chinese sites never been taken seriously at all they would have been spotted a long long time ago never been mentioned by any the West or Israel they would have been called out for it at least like tsk tsk china

Not many countries in this world are seeing you guys as dependable enough to risk being your proxy.

China is only business-oriented, and conducting proxy-war is to make the third nations suffered and to turn its nation into a battleground, which is against China's moral principles.

Pakistan is quite satisfied with what Chinese collaboration has delivered against Western tech. Iran is also doing well with real time intelligence provided by Chinese satellites. The list of satisfied Chinese clients is going to grow and best news is the Chinese don't charge an arm and a leg.

this brought tears in my eyes...May Allah Help Iran and give hidayat to rest of the Muslims Aameen

Second time you've fixated on their airforce. There was no serious push from Iran to make airforce a part of their doctrine for this war.
Here is the real world deal...

THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR AN AIR FORCE...!!!

Iran, and much of the world, got seduced by missiles. Cheaper than air force in every way. Gives the leadership a false sense of security, strength, and power. USAF leadership says "Suckers".

It is the missile and drone bases that are carrying this war. We've already seen the US bomb the living daylights out of a base only for it to remain active.
To do what?

J 10 beat a rafale and an f 35 got hit by a country with no air defense……but again since china hasn’t sold weapons or as far as the known world knows anything of significance in decades to Iran it’s not really part of the conversation here to be fair

Am going to guess of Cold War and Desert Storm?

The Cold War was an absolute necessity. When I was on the F-111E (RAF Upper Heyford), I managed to snag a controlled tour to East Berlin. Yes, back then active duty personnels can play tourists in communist countries under appropriate conditions, anyway, after three days in East Berlin, I returned to the West with renewed conviction that resisting communism was the morally righteous thing to do.

As for Desert Storm, Iraq under Saddam Hussein must be contained and after the invasion of Kuwait, he sealed his own fate with his own pen. But after DS, it was at best a C- on how the US occupied and ran the country. Some things we did right, some not. To this day, speaking for myself, I do not believe DS was the wrong thing to do, and that it was necessary.
Take your meds and go to sleep Grand Pa!

Well Chinese arms did excellent job for us when it comes to India. They defeated western systems Indian air force operates.
Yeaahhh...We were wondering the same...We were looking for that Iranian 'stealth' fighter...
Yea lol that steal fighter suddenly came in my mind. I remember that black one. I forgot about it completely. Year ago I saw it.
