Z-10 ME/P deliveries Updates: Pakistan Army Aviation.

The problem seems to be more of a once in a generation, docrtrinal shift in employment.

Is it worth it to employ expensive rotary platforms in anti-armor, interdiction role exposing pilots or is it more cost-effective/less risky to stand up large fleets of combat drones to do the same job? This is not to suggest that attack helicopters are not needed but if Russian-Ukraine war is to be looked at, we have situations in which drones are being used to destroy attack-helicopters and the efficacy of the helicopter in offensive operations is coming under scrutiny.
What can an attack helicopter do that a Shahpar 3 flying at 30,000ft cannot?

There are more AESAs mounted on a single Z-10ME then most countries have in their airforces it's a very high tech piece of kit.

In a conventional conflict they can fly in packs very low hugging the terrain blinding radars with their EW suites then momentarily pop up and fire their fire and forget munitions from safe distances at armour, radars etc

A drone can't fly that low so its easy pickings for any AD system so it "flying at 30k ft" Is a detriment to it.

It's why large fixed wing drones have essentially become extinct in Ukraine atleast in attack roles.

NA only specific to Z-10 deliveries to PAA, there is another thread that you can post other PAA helicopters images
Bhai , then make some new threads , The lack of threads related to army is so frustratingg

. It was reported in February 2020 that Pakistani Army has shown some serious interest in Z-10ME after the Turkish T129 deal was jeopardized. The latest image (July 2025) suggested that the first batch of Z-10ME in a dark green camouflage has been delivered to Pakistani Army, along with a variety of AA and AG weaponry including CM-502KG ATGM and PL-90A AAM, which significantly boosts Pakistani Army's anti-armor capability.
