I swear to God, ceasefires are never kept.
I ask you, who support ceasefires, a question:
Show me even one example of the US and Israel keeping a ceasefire.
They have ignored every ceasefire and continued to attack Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.
I repeat, ceasefires are 100% broken.
No matter how despicable the surprise attack, if the enemy is weak and agrees to a ceasefire at the time they want, Epstein and his group have no reason to abandon the war.
An attitude toward a ceasefire means the fundamental loss of deterrence.
Once the front is opened, the war will not end easily; that fact is the greatest deterrent.
Iran has abandoned deterrence, they are finished, game over.

Let’s see what happens in 2 weeks the pessimism in me says this is a trap but who knows they’re letting them keep everything and giving them total sanctions relief plus they get to keep enrichment(which they are going to have to rebuild again take a a year for small enrichment site) Israel stops all attacks in Lebanon(real ceasefire no more wink wink) and Iran makes the world pay billions of dollars a year to use straits that were free before this war……if it sounds to be good to be true usually is to good to be true

That is why I am advocating PM should thank, appreciate and incorporate everybody's effort, like Turkey, Egypt, Oman, etc and China if they did something.
Pak cannot do anything if israel breaks this ceasefire, heck, the US cannot do anything.

yeah righteous indignation does not alter international law. If Iran is allowed to do this other nations will follow suite and impose a similar transit fees for passage through busy international shipping lanes. Spain, Tunisia, Somalia, Indonesia are a few countries that could do the same. Egypt and Panama are able to charge because these are man made water ways and not international waters.

I will remind you there was no such thing as transit fee before Iran was attacked unprovoked and hundreds of billions of its infrastructure was deliberately targeted and destroyed (not talking about ruthless casualties it suffered).

Before anyone gets happy - you have to be pragmatic:
1. You have to wait for talks to actually take place
2. You have to wait for parties concerned to attend talks
3. You have to wait for both parties to stick to the initial terms of the two week ceasefire and uphold it.
4. You have wait and see if parties can agree to and accept to work towards CMBs.
