Also boost our industry by providing construction materials (cement, rebars, sanitary, piping, etc) and other stuff.I hope Inshallah the ceasefire holds permanently.
And if Pak estb has any foresight, they should get a waiver to buy Iranian oil. They should complete the oil pipeline to Gwadar. Build a refinery there (have Iran fund it) and then export refined petroleum from there.
All major countries will line up to buy. Bypass Hormuz and make is hostility proof.
Over the next two weeks, missiles and ground troops will be brought into the Middle East from all over the world. Allied fighter jets will undergo thorough maintenance and be in peak condition. The Strait of Hormuz will be opened, oil prices will fall, and deterrence will be lost.
And who doesn't know what will happen in two weeks?
I don't think Mojtaba is that foolish. He's probably really unconscious from the bombing. That's why the reformers have taken over the country and forced a surrender. This marks the end of thousands of years of Iranian history. The cycle of attack and ceasefire will continue, gradually dismantling the country like Libya and Syria, and Iran will never recover as a unified nation. Thousands of years of glory ended today.
Also, as far as I can tell, Iran never ratified the UNCLOS. So they choose to adhere to whatever parts they want. That doesn't make it "international waters" where "freedom of navigation" applies. They are "territorial waters", despite being an "international strait". "Innocent passage" applies, as it does in Suez and Panama. Authorities can charge a toll and stop and search.
You guys need to stop making/believing predictions like this. I have been here since '09 and it was Venezuela-China, Iran, dumping US Treasury bonds, Russia, Cuba-China, and NKR. With every country under discussion, said country can destroy enough of A, B, and C to plunge the world into chaos.Ground invasion against Iran is a fantasy. The war is only one month old and fuel, food prices will hurt US citizens and energy prices will not be the same again. This war (if it continues) differs from Vietnam, Libya, Syria, Iraq war because Iran can destroy all energy facilities, water desalinations and cause HUGE crisis worldwide (including US citizens and other westerners). This makes the enemy think twice. If it was that easy, they would have done it already.
They can take it up with Oman, I expect most ships will cross through their side anyways.this isn't something that either the US and Iran can decide bilaterally since nations around the world are impacted. 2m$ a vessel isn't small change and will add to the cost of energy exports from the middle east. That's an additional 2$ per barrel added to the cost of oil that passes through Hormuz.

This ^ sheesh.. The copium is still large in this thread. Not a single USN ship was sunk……
