Energy prices still rise just as the did in the US. I am paying over $1 more than I did before this war started despite the US being a major oil producer.

It is Iranian officials saying it not Trump.

I think China is putting its own economic wellbeing first which means avoiding an energy crisis however they can. We will see how the negotiations go. I guess you don't understand importance of peace in Iran according to Pakistani perspective. Let me breakdown a bit.
1. Peace in Iran means ease of pressure fir Pakistan on western border.
2. A boom of western capital and technology flowing Iran , will result in reducing Tehran's over-reliance on India to counter sanctions.
And there is probable outcome as Iran's economy opens up, it could compete more aggressively with Pakistan for foreign investment (especially Chinese capital).
