What the hell did the Israeli terrorists do
Israel did a savage attack on Lebanon without warning despite Hezbollah holding fire since last night

This ceasefire wont last and there won’t be peace Rogue Israeli will continue striking Lebanon, Iran cannot abandon its ally. Not confident Islamabad can stop this.

I fail to understand why some Iranians are dissatisfied upon hearing the news of the ceasefire under the Islamabad Accords. Perhaps they are unable to set aside their arrogance and acknowledge Pakistan’s wisdom and capability to achieve such an outcome. Alternatively, they may simply disregard the interests of the Iranian people. Or, they might be Pahlavists who cannot recognize the wisdom of Iran’s current leadership. In my view, Iranians ought to take pride in their country and also show gratitude to Pakistan. At least on this forum.

Like with "great powers come great responsibilities", with a semblance of influence comes expectations. I don't know if this can be pulled off, but it should be stressed upon.

100% Pakistan cannot stop this. We tried our best. Rest is upon the belligerents. Let them go at it some more, get tired, cool down and then revisit the ceasefire.

It is a journey. But at least Pakistan has set a precedent. Ceasefire in Gaza did not happen overnight.

Russia-Ukraine are still going at it after 3 years.

1. On the 8th, Secretary-General of the Arab League (AL), Ahmed Aboul Gheit, issued a statement welcoming the ceasefire announced by the United States and Iran, while urging Israel to comply with the relevant ceasefire arrangements and stop military actions in Lebanon. The statement said that the US-Iran ceasefire is a positive development in curbing the ongoing escalation in the Middle East and contributes to regional security and stability. From a logical and practical perspective, ceasefire arrangements should naturally involve the Lebanon issue. The Arab League called on the United States to pressure Israel to halt military operations in Lebanon. The statement also pointed out that Iran must immediately and fully cease hostile actions against Arab countries, open the Strait of Hormuz, and ensure the freedom of navigation and the security of energy supplies. Additionally, any future negotiation arrangements between the United States and Iran must respect the security interests and fundamental concerns of the Gulf countries.

2. On April 8 local time, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that following the two-week ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran, both sides are expected to hold a face-to-face meeting in Islamabad, Pakistan, "very soon" to promote the conclusion of a long-term agreement. Trump said the talks could take place as early as this week. The U.S. delegation may include U.S. Middle East envoy Zalmay Khalilzad and Trump's son-in-law, among others. He also stated that Vice President Pence "may not attend," mainly due to security concerns.

3. Tehran, April 8, Xinhua — The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran issued a statement on the 8th saying that on the same day, the Revolutionary Guards intercepted and shot down an "Archer-900" drone over Lar City in Fars Province.

The statement said that any type of U.S. or Israeli drone entering Iranian airspace, even if no military action is carried out, will be considered a violation of the ceasefire agreement, and Iran will respond resolutely.

Reports they killed 500+ Lebanese people in 10 minutes of strikes

They didn't do this during the actual war and waited to do it during the ceasefire to break it

Israel committed genocide against Lebanese people today

So how is ANY of above Pakistan's fault?

It would be beneficial if members think and post logically instead of these emotional ououtbursts.

I'm of the opinion that this "ceasefire" is just breathing space for the US and Israel to restock and move assets into the arena then the big show begins in the not-too-distant future. Trump will justify it as "Iran broke the ceasefire". There are numerous air assets being moved east as I write - 12x additional A-10s over the UK earlier and some Navy E-2 Hawkeye's across Spain and Italy (all public knowledge) so join the dots yourselves.

As someone mentioned up-thread, no part of these "Pakistan ceasefire" celebrations solves the Israel problem.
