On April 8 local time, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that following the two-week ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran, both sides are expected to hold a face-to-face meeting in Islamabad, Pakistan, "very soon" to promote the conclusion of a long-term agreement. 3. Tehran, April 8, Xinhua — The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran issued a statement on the 8th saying that on the same day, the Revolutionary Guards intercepted and shot down an "Archer-900" drone over Lar City in Fars Province.
The statement said that any type of U.S. or Israeli drone entering Iranian airspace, even if no military action is carried out, will be considered a violation of the ceasefire agreement, and Iran will respond resolutely.
