the entire EU wants a ceasefire. Let them know that israel is the spoiler and Iran has been responsible so far.

I dont think its unexpected, Pak had little choice but to get involved to push diplomacy. Pak was literally sandwiched in-between and the war has been devastating economically and the defence pact made things unpredictable.
We can't discount other country involvement as well, I kept saying a guarantor like China is needed, trumpy name dropped China too.
