Saudi Arabia will double down on east-west pipeline. UAE will build pipelines to circumvent the strait, Qatar as well, same goes for Kuwait, and Iraq already does mostly use pipelines.

Thus with 5 years maybe slight longer you could major amounts of energy avoiding the strait altogether.

Well, a person that talks about the death of a whole civilization is a real threat to world peace.

The US hasn't been able to come up with a normal respectable president after Obama. It's hard to tell how the opinions of Europeans will change in future, if your next president is like Biden or Trump.
