The trust masses feel is not realised by the west who forgets AQ khan. His role single handedly changed some mindset of possible **** support against all odd for iran. iranian public must have known the daring feat this guy pulled going solo with nukes skipping gcc ..which they must be regreting now..

I don't doubt that we will achieve victory in East Asia, but the Persian Gulf is different. We don't have a base in the Persian Gulf, and our supply lines are too fragile.

That's why the hypersonic missiles have become indispensable.

It can target both military bases and surface vessels.

Sounds like Iran is gonna capitulate in some fashion including many years of no enrichment in return of easily reversible sanctions relief and some access to frozen funds. No embargo removal. Maybe even no swift reintegration. A crappy deal. War could come again several years down the line when the next protests break out because economic conditions are still not great.

@Persian Gulf

@ShapurII

@Shags101

I mean using the nuke stuff as leverage for sanctions relief has been the Iranian strategy all along. Israel's number one goal is that the sanctions remain on Iran, else the country can grow rich quickly if it can sell more oil every year and it's economy is connected again to the world.

I think you explained why sanctions relief will never be offered.

As long as Iran continues to negotiate weakly, the US will continue to invade indefinitely. Why don't they understand that? Negotiations only serve as a catalyst for the next invasion, and problems can only be resolved through military means. Vietnam enjoyed prosperity and peace and was no longer a target because it militarily repelled the US. Iran has been targeted for 40 years because it has continued negotiating for 40 years. It will be the same in the future; unless negotiations are broken, Iran will forever remain a target for invasion.

Very well said.

Who is this IRGC that we keep talking about? We always assume that the IRGC is an organization with a voice in the system, but is it?
Ghalibaf is a Brigadier General of the IRGC himself. He served as the Commander of IRGC Air Force for a while.
Maybe the field commanders that surprised everyone with their counter attacks. Shadow commanders, leaders of the missile force, Mousavi? Or Vahidi? Ebrahim Zolfaghari's superiors who empower him to speak as he does. I am not sure, but there exist people other than the بدیم بره reformists. Or maybe I am too optimistic.

Vietnam is helped by both giants USSR and China with land border with China. Not the case with Iran that fight alone.

When Khatami disclosed the existence of uranium enrichment facilities and abandoned reprocessing and laser enrichment technologies, pressure from the West intensified dramatically, leading to the matter being referred to the UN Security Council. When Rouhani signed the JCPOA, economic sanctions against Iran were dramatically tightened, and assassinations surged. When Pezeshkian accepted permanent abandonment of uranium enrichment and inspections, Iran was exposed to full-scale aggression. Concessions only cause the other side’s demands to escalate and worsen, leading only to further war. Even a child could understand this by studying history. Iran is being dragged into an endless war by foolish reformists and mullahs who are being deceived into believing that problems can be solved through concessions and dialogue.

Superb message from the brilliant Persian minds to hold the negotations in Pakistan and not Turkey, Switserland, Egypt or China (the other alternatives).

The US is fighting for decades now against a nuclear Iran and Iran is inviting the US to Pakistan - a nuclear islamic nation.

It says: “Hold your horses. You are looking to not one but 2 islamic nuclear powers at this moment.”
