Talks between the US and Iran could restart "in the next two days", Donald Trump has told the New York Post, external.

"Something could be happening over the next two days, and we're more inclined to go there [Pakistan]," he tells the newspaper.

This comes after a weekend meeting in Islamabad, Pakistan, involving US Vice-President JD Vance and Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, among others. The talks ended without a deal.

Earlier today, Iran's state-run media said messages have been exchanged between Tehran and Pakistan, but there is "no information" about any agreement to hold further talks with the US.

I think a deal was reached in Pakistan

But remember the terms are too humiliating to USA

USA is still a Global Superpower and announcement of a deal would be a big PR disaster for the Americans

So to cover that they blockaded a blockade and announced they forced Iran into a agreement

For Iran they got the PR win and the win on the battlefield they have a lot less to lose

US has no interceptors and Iran has spent the last few days rearming and rebuilding

They already said they didn’t want the nuclear bomb so how is that is a sticking point ?

Also the aircraft USS George Bush is off the coast of Namibia taking the long way round avoiding Red Sea and Yemen choke point

If they can’t transit that how are they going to transit the Strait of Hormuz ?

American warships are sailing a good 300km away from Irans coast why ? Because majority of Iranian anti ship missiles are 300km range

One warship hit and big death toll and it’s a big PR disaster

Also China announced 2 of its oil tankers have taken Iranian oil and sailed passed straits of Hormuz and US didn’t even stop them so what blockade is USA even taking about

Besides strait is open for China.

That's not how a militia works

They make the occupation costly, painful and constantly under attack

And with FPVs and long range anti tank missiles, they can do that now more then ever

As long as they can be supplied


This is why Israel and the U.S are trying to get Lebanon stuck in a agreement where they will have to disarm Hezbollah
