Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

This blockade is gonna impact Chinese economy and the world. Do nothing and win is a good strategy if you are not affected by the current conflict. China is working very hard to achieve energy independence & security but it’s still many years away.

And I totally agree, however as much as everyone would like for China to jump in and teach the U.S a lesson, in reality much of Chinese aims are achieved by letting the U.S look like warmongering buffoons and harm the world through it's actions

However at some point China will need to step up or be seen as weak and irrelevant simply through inaction

I do agree with you, "What's good with all the shiny toys if you are not willing to use them". At the current moment, I don’t think china is ready to challenge the US militarily but it does have a powerful industrial complex to sustain a long attritional warfare. Type 004 nuclear carrier is still under construction, china semiconductor industry is at least a few years away from becoming self sufficient.
China had enough of the numerous bloodiest wars and bloodsheds in the past two centuries, both with foreign powers and civil wars. Hundreds of millions of Chinese lives had perished in those wars. Even after the establishment of PRC in 1949, China still engaged in quite a few bloody wars until 1979 reform began. it's only been 40 years that china is at peace, EU has at least 80 years of peace since WW II, let's take a break and let china develop and not get itself into unnecessary wars that don't threaten China. Lethal weapons developed are for defense just in case.

IMO China won't do It. China ancient political tradition of Middle Empire has been based on soft power, diplomacy and commerce.
Starting to use PLA military power as an asset would eventually put China in a similar connundrum than US.

But hey, Persian Gulf will kill us if we continue talking about China.

Just send iranians some J16. Those are much better than anything else in western 4.5 aircrafts. I know that this will never happen, but if TACO can say nonsense I can also 🤣
I wish but it’s not going to happen unfortunately. China is the functional opposite of trump. He’s a gambler while China plays the long game to develop high tech sector and achieve geopolitical influence.

It is strange that the US has imposed a total naval blockade on Iran during a ceasefire and IRI has not responded at all, preferring to continue negotiations and pretend the blockade does not exist.

But it does. And Israel has not accepted a ceasefire in Lebanon (though it has stopped bombing Beirut).

When the first reports of negotiations came out, Iranian officials denied it strongly. But now we see that Trump was telling the truth, and our Iranian officials were openly lying to us, and many messages were being exchanged with the enemy through intermediaries behind the scenes.

Good, but 6 ships related to Islamic Republic has sailed between both blockades, that shows that is not a total blockade, and moreover, some kind of price has been given to Islamic Republic.

The US will do everything in its power to derail China economic development. There’s no way to avoid it. A proxy war is still much much cheaper than a full scale war with the US. China can leverage its weapon stockpiles to force the US into letting Chinese oil tankers pass through the strait instead of doing nothing but we don’t know what goes behind the scene. Trump will use the blockade as a leverage in exchange for rare earths ahead of trump-xi meeting. That I’m sure of.

I gave up politics during my college years, so I failed this subject. I felt that politics was not necessary in society. Now it seems I was wrong. To get back to the point, the information of this era is explosive. If we cannot sort out and classify it, we will have a very chaotic thinking problem. If we spread out a blank sheet of paper, with China on the left and the United States on the right, we are two extremes. China's governance policy provides long-term stability and certainty, while US policy can be summed up with uncertainty, and you can never tell what kind of tumultuous statements Trump will make tomorrow. As you said, when more and more people in the world feel insecure and uncertain factors, they will lean towards the side of certainty, and even give everyone the illusion that we don't have to do anything, waiting for others to make mistakes.
Don't let complex information disrupt your thinking. We only look at two indicators to make judgments: economic and trade cooperation and military cooperation between countries. These indicators can determine whether the relationship between two countries is normalized. You will see that the relationships between countries are not as stable as they used to be.
If you pay attention to the policies issued by the government, they are adjusted as the indicators change, and they are not static.

No evidence the 6 ships fully left the Gulf of Oman since the blockade started

Not sure if it's shared before.

A conventional ground invasion of Iran is imminent. Whatever Israel wishes will be fulfilled. Now is Iran last chance to build the bomb.

Ultimately, the fact that Mojtaba was a pacifist like his father sealed Iran's fate. It's not always belligerent leaders who destroy a country, but often pacifists who plunge their nation and people into hell. Missiles and underground bases are useless if the leaders lack the courage to fight.

The other side is acting like how countries act in wars. IRI is acting like its just another slow Tuesday.

I have given up completely on these jokers. I am waiting for a secular nationalist government to take over no matter how far in future. A government that disentangles the nation from problems in Levant in which Iran the country has zero stake in. Saves the Billions of USD that IRI wasted on arab proxy forces and focuses on Iranian nation than anyone else.

How do you know Mojtaba is a pacifist? Very little is known about him, or even what state of health he is in.

We still even have not seen that guy. :ROFLMAO:

Maybe he's in coma.

Currently Iran is like USA, a country where nobody knows jackshit about who the hell take big decisions.

Anyway dont worry, Israeli rabid dog will kill any Iran peaceful leadership. So only the stronger with balls will survive to face the rabid dog.

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Wednesday and offered to cover any potential shortfall in energy supplies caused by the Iran War as the U.S. military said its blockage of all Iranian ports along the Strait of Hormuz has been “fully implemented,” and all shipments out of the country hav been “completely halted.”

Speaking to Russian state media, Lavrov said Russia is capable of filling any energy resource gap that China may face as a result of the Iran war and the U.S. blockade.

The Russian foreign minister added, “Thank God, we and China have all the capabilities” to avoid being beholden to the “aggressive adventure” in the Middle East, which “undermines” the global economy and energy flow.
