Our force structure in terms of quality and quantity is vastly India-centric. Any deviation leaves a dent in the Eastern Front strategy. If the Chinese can expedite J-35 deliveries, and at least a squadron becomes operational, my opinion is that it's risky deploying fighters elsewhere. With some fighters sent to the KSA, any further deviation would not be reasonable.

Kudos to the Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir who has been saying for the last 2-3 days that most issues were worked out in Islamabad Talks of April 10/11 except when it came to Lebanon, which was a demand Iran could not have abandoned. So the Israel-Lebanon meeting in Washington under Rubio was a result of that noble Iranian stand; this was the first time Israel-Lebanon directly negotiated in about 40 years, so let's understand the significance of that as it relates to the Islamabad Talks. And I don't think even the Israelis believe the Lebanese govt can disarm Hezbollah but Israelis are getting a figleaf of an agreement for the almost certain ceasefire.
Things are moving really really fast.

Degradation of Iran as a state and gobbling up of southern Lebanon were the two major Netanyahu goals for this war. I think I saw a top Iranian official (maybe President Pezeskian?) said Iran is pushed back 12 years while Trump saying pushed back 20 years. As for south Lebanon, this will not be the first time Israel occupied a chunk of Lebanon but it remains to be seen they will able to hold onto that for long. Israelis are extremely sensitive to casualties and Hezbollah is a more powerful force then it was in the 80s when they last beat back Israel from south Lebanon.

I can't wrap my head around the fact that despite all the real world examples of Qaddafi, Saddam, Assad and even Kim in an inverse way, Irani leadership are still failing to get this through their thick skulls is the fact that the only way to get out of this situation is by testing a nuke. All their effort with subterfuge and deception should be to buy time and space to detonate a nuke...Anything short of this the zionist demons will be back to get more of the piece of Iranians either through direct attacks, sabotage and terrorism.

Zionists will never relent, Iranian missiles are not making enough impact and large casualty events in Israel for it to be deterrent, only way to back them off is a threat of nuclear annihilation

My guess is US is trying to trick Iran to open the strait ahead of time by using the Lebanon ceasefire and falsely saying they will use the Iranian 10 points as a “framework” for future deal. However, once again in Pakistan they will backtrack.

The goal is to get the 200-300M barrels of oil sitting in tankers on the Persian Gulf out of the strait of Hormuz and then start the ground war. Those 200-300M barrels will help blunt the energy shockwave problem and take away another leverage from Iran.

US has been continuously moving assets and troops into the region. They wouldn’t be doing this if they were planning on signing a deal that Iran could accept. The ultimate goal of U.S. is to control Iran’s energy reserves like in Venezuela, the nuclear file is just an excuse.

Do not for even a second think about this. They are deceitful by nature. I even doubt the current "negotiations" are in good faith. They want full capitulation.
