In a sense yes for European oil, it can be routed westward over land, but All oil heading to Asia is going to be still feeling the same issue of having to Cross Hormuz or the Mandab. Maybe if they build export terminals and a pipeline in Oman, but thats a long way off, and still requires Oman to cooperate..

The requirements are obvious. The pipeline network is just the most famous and public part of this project. The energy infrastructure will be expanded in a way that will enable them to avoid the SoH in the future if necessary.

Also, the main objective is to ensure the energy security of the West, not Asia. That's China's job.

Yeah but the Gulf these days sell more oil and gas to Asia than Europe, namely China, South Korea Japan, India etc. The demand there is higher than the EU. So unless they are planning on going around africa, it complicates logistics.

If the secular opposition manages to seize control of the presidency and the TBMM, the Europeans will not make the same mistakes again. They will exert every effort to guarantee the opposition's success, equipped with the necessary resources to assist them in achieving success or at least creating the appearance of success, even if they fall short.

Germany and Western Europe, including France, are poised to support a potential new Turkish government with significant investments.

At present, there is no substantial progress on key issues such as visa-free travel or the modernization of the customs union.

Should the EU fail to address these matters soon, I suspect they are waiting to see the outcomes of the upcoming election.

If the opposition wins by a large margin, it means bad news for Greece.
