Why are we exploring new resources when we don't have proper Security measures in place. First we need to build proper security Network before we start investing in exploiting any natural resources in these areas.

This company was working for 3-4 years, first time attacked. You cant leave everything to fear of some terror attack. Hopefully they will take measures to increase security.

These types of attacks happens after a series of security failures. Not just one single isolated events. BLA attacks security check post with impunity and then flee the area without taking any losses. Most of the time they are never chased and eliminated. They are roaming vast territory carrying loads of ammunition and lots of guns. BLA has it's terrorist active almost in every corner of BLN. And they show up anywhere at their own will(it's not even SFs actively chasing them). How is it even possible. I am sure that perpetrators of this very same incident would have reached their safe heaven by now.

QUETTA: At least nine people working at a copper and gold project site in Balochistan’s Chagai district were killed in an armed attack by unidentified assailants.

In a statement, the mining company National Resources Limited (NRL) said the attack took place on Wednesday evening, adding that security forces, including the Frontier Corps, responded promptly, secured the area and launched a clearance operation.

The company did not mention any casualties in its statement. However, local authorities have confirmed the incident and nine casualties.

“At least nine employees, including two security guards, were killed,” a senior official of the Chagai administration said on condition of anonymity.

Police officials also confirmed the attack and the killing of nine people. All nine bodies were taken to Prince Fahad Hospital in Dalbandin.

In its statement, NRL said it remained “fully committed to the development and empowerment of local communities in Balochistan, with a strong focus on improving livelihoods and contributing to economic upliftment”.

“Over 90 per cent of the workforce at the Darigwan site comprises individuals from Balochistan,” the firm noted.

NRL said it was closely coordinating with the relevant authorities and affirmed that the safety and security of its employees and operations remained its highest priority.

Bomb the Baloch areas in Afghanistan

Don't just try to stop attacks,
If we do that we will stop 90% of the attacks and 10% will still kill people

But if for every attack, you respond with your own attack with air strikes and heavy bombing raids you give actual DETERRENCE to your enemies

Don't waste time giving your enemy reasons to be your friend, just accept that they are your enemy and blow up their markets and homes and villages in response to their attacks

DERA MURAD JAMALI: A bomb exploded near the residence of Balochistan’s Minister for Irrigation, Mir Sadiq Umrani, damaging parts of the house in Dera Murad Jamali on Saturday night, police said.

Police said unknown attackers planted the bomb behind Mr Umrani’s residence near a Wapda transformer.

“The bomb exploded and damaged some parts of the residence,” a police officer told Dawn, adding that the transformer was completely destroyed in the powerful blast that rocked the area.

Officials said Umrani was not present at the time of the explosion. Only servants were inside the house, and no casualties were reported.

“CCTV video showed two people planting the bomb, which exploded after they fled the site,” police officials said, adding that an investigation is underway.
