Trump cancels Witkoff and Kushner trip to Pakistan for Iran war talks, US media reports

The US president tells Fox New "no more talking about nothing". Earlier Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi attended talks with Pakistan where he set out Tehran's "views" on ending the war.

Iran as yet has not been able to impose a cost on the USN, it has managed to keep things at arms length but not hit, or sink a ship so far.

There is no therefore here - If you have legitimate issues on corruption and so on - that is perfectly fine. But please don't assume to know more about security issues and then claim victimhood in "Pakistaniyat certificates"

The way we framed it like some sort of Shaadi event was very cringe. It almost felt as if our government was doing it not for peace itself but for the PR it was bringing them.

I doubt , they are playing smart....more they drag , more the create hate against US and Israel. More they are bringing them in international lime light. Also US young elected congressmen are getting more and more anti war and anti Israel and raising the question of unconditional support to Israel. You don t see but its massive impact. Iran is under sanction for the last 47 years, they have nothin to lose and they learn to survive through bypassing the SWIFT. As far as Pakistan, we are only Trump administration messengers and follow what they are telling us to do, we need more loans and financial help from IMF and World bank , and on top cheap oil to pay surging national debt.

Iran is going to overplay its hand and become Afghanistan.

"I don't see the point in sending them on an 18-hour flight in the current [state of the negotiations]. It's too long. We can just as well do it over the phone. The Iranians can call us if they want. We're not going to travel just to sit there,” Trump reportedly said to Axios.

This comes just after Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi and his delegation have flown out of Islamabad following their talks with Pakistani leaders. The White House had said Friday that Witkoff and Kushner would travel to Islamabad on Saturday morning.

Iran wants to talk US govt not Trump personal real estate agents. They leak all info to Israel before reporting Trump. So, there will be no outcome as long these two are running the show. Iranian knows they are wasting there time. A reason Iranian FM deliver the message and left for Oman .

Well , there’s a fundamental difference, if I understand correctly, after the deadline, congress, not trump, need declare the war, not simply honour the action of war started by trump.
