you wont send a squadron unless you had something that covers the absence of those assets including pilots.

That cover could be GBAD inductions, potentially undeclared air assets - or an overcommitment you have no answer to.
Being Pakistan any of these is possible.

Maybe they expect the new monuments in Islamabad to provide a "visual deterrent"

You know. A part of me wishes India launches their outdated cold strike doctine and attempt to seizes a few 10s of km inside Pakistan.

From the Russia-Ukraine war, it will allow Pakistan to unleash drones on their troops and leave them completely defenceless. Would leave a loads of these Indians mentally shell-shocked.

Should honestly strike them as part of counterterrorism operations. India will launch an open provocation along with more symbolic anti Pakistan sentiment by may 7th. These are the assets being mobilised in preparation

Considering Trump's overtures to Pakistan recently, you think India would want to do any misadventure?

I mean, they are vile and lunatics, but i think they probably would wait.

And considering the noise they generate before actually doing piecemeal targeting of so called "..terrorists..." i think PAF would have enough time to fly back the squadron from Saudi......no?

But seriously, Imagine and hope Pakistan gets to fly J-35s secretly to bomb delhi all the way, maza ajaye. Just like the PL15 'E' version that hit their prized formations like lightning bolts.....that would be epic!

The Indians are waiting for the Trump term to finish. The Trump term didn't turn out to be the success they were hoping for.

Pakistan needs to prepare to the maximum. It would be nice if Pakistan could test some new missiles that puts everyone on an edge.
