PA MLRS, Self Propelled and towed artillery [BM-11, Fatah-I GMLRS, Fatah-II] - News, Updates & Discussions

What's the range of the Fatah 3s???

Their seem to be different stats saying different things

yes

dont plan on selling / no market for expensive ALCMS , so no

nope u buy of the shelf and also start prodcuing them yourself , just like how u did with brahmos

Lol ..there is a market for supersonic cruise missiles..infact India has been exporting brahmos for while now. Phillipines, Vietnam, Indonesia all very intrested in supersonic cruise missiles.

Bhramos is a joint venture just like your JF 17. But i can bet there is much more Indian contribution to development of Brahmos than Pakistan contribution to JF- 17.

Have you bought it with TOT. Do you own IP rights for this missile?

Where js the deal, when was it signed?

Does not make sense unless you believe you can make these missiles cheaper than the Chinese.

It seems like the regular old buying off the shelf ,repainting, renaming job.

Its presented as "indigenous" which mean Pakistan got full ownership and knowhow to make them as many as possible with in Pakistan.

I hope so bro , u know a jet is more complicated than a cm right ??
But no u took a yakhont and made it at home same as us taking hd1 and making it at home
Idk whats with u guys and fighting about origin of brahmos , just see the yakhonts pic and tell me if its not a brahmos
See how most members here said it’s an hd1 because we don’t care as long as we get local production . Stupid argument

How do you know that?

Pakistan has been doing this smoke and shadow..repainting/ rechristening the Chinese missile and drones as their own products for a while now.

Yet there is no manufacturing plants or assembly lines for these missiles or drones in Pakistan.

They are bought off the shelf or in semi knock down kits, repainted, tested a couple of time at maximum and then inducted into service.

Same has happened with the entire Fatah series and NASR missile.

What development? You literally took the soviet era Yahkont anti ship missile and converted it to land use. And you're comparing with JF17?! Take a look at your tejus, US engine, airframe designed by Dassault, FCS by the US, Israeli radar, Russian and Israeli weapons, nose cone from the UK lol

which chinese drone has been rechristined as a Pakistani one?

Which Fatah missile originates from a Chinese one barring F3?

@Ak01 if the sea version is true can they be launched from sea sultan, I don’t think there should be a problem with that
HD-1 is HUGE! weighs about double a taimoor! Also, its quite long too. It all really depends on what they end up doing to the sultans, if its a rotary bay, i dont think so, if not, maybe?

Yes aircraft is lot more complicated than a cruise missile, that is why the entire aircraft was developed by China as per specific from PAF. I believe your PAC Kamra was involved in laying out the specifications for the Chinese engineers with all development work taking place in China.

However the difference wrt these Fateh missiles(which were bought of the shelf) is Pakistan contributed 50 percent of funds for JF 17 development and hence received TOT and manufacturing/ assembling rights as well as the rights to re-export the aircraft to other countries.

The intake system looks different from the original HD 1 missile a bit similar to the yj 15.

You're looking at an AI enhanced pic of the launch.

The original pic is wholly consistent with the HD-1 with twin intakes.

Though, just saying, i wouldnt put it past the PA to just be using stock footage of a supersonic missile as part of this to show that thats their intention for fatah 3 going forward... Not that they've necessarily procured HD-1.
