BTW F-7 HUD was developed in Pakistan and given to China.
Likewise the entire software of JF 17 was written in Pakistan, for the fist time ever for a fighter jet in C language.

Not exactly true.
Only true to the extent in that PAF contributed personnel to make up for manpower shortage at CAC during JF-17 program.

While members are right to be excited about Fatah 3, which is supposedly HD-1, the fact the Indians are very advanced in their testing of scramjet engines should worry Pakistani military observers. How long can Pakistan continue to import missiles while India innovates?
HD-1 type inductions should be for stop-gap measures as you can’t sustain an import based missile program.

The software lineage of the JF17 is from the J10A, you only have to look at some of the MFD screens to see that. Pakistan may have provided some labour but the IP is very much chinese.

There is collaboration with China on it, there was quite a bit of news a while back.
The key elements of why this is exciting is due to the following;
-It has a cost advantage compared to Brahmos, it's lighter and less complex
-Uses solid fuel as opposed to liquid so simplifies storage, handling, and rapid launch procedures compared with it's counterpart
-It can be scaled up much faster
It's a major milestone but the military needs to look further ahead.

ISPR is such an embarrassment.
Its like Altaf Bhai and Rabita committee.
Altaf bhai issued statement and then the Rabita committee had to scramble for justification and explanations.
ISPR makes these embarrassing booboo and we have to defend them all over the Internet.
