Yes the Americans are very much involved in Bangladesh whether you believe it or not and their agenda is destructive to Bangladesh interests and targeted at China rather than India. The Americans are certainly trying to do a replay of what they did in Afghanistan and we have seen what has happened to that country since.

Indian machinations can be resisted without blindly following the American agenda in Bangladesh and I am confused why you are so defensive on this issue ... What do you care about what America might or might not be doing in Bangladesh. I thought you had no interest in Bangladesh. I really have no solution for your confusion. It is not that surprising to me that such an opinion exists within the Bangladeshi community.

Indeed, those who continually ignore the forest for the trees exist throughout the subcontinent. They did in 1947 too. Today some of those people are being struck off electoral registers as we speak. Others are politely waiting their turn.

I will remind you that several posters here highlighted the very obvious faults of the Hindustani regime, while you chose to bring forth this bizarre obfuscational narrative of "external forces".

Let me illuminate you on what this mitigation achieves.

Here in UK, a whole bohemian subculture of diaspora barhadari (Pakistani and Bangladeshi and even Indian) all sit, effectively neutered by this concept that South Asians can function as some unified entity where Hindus and Muslims can and should be one and the same community, and that the conflicts in South Asia are explained by some "third" party interference, e.g. it's the superpowers with their interests, or maybe it was the British all along.

Take a peek over the border. The fanatics have become the politicians. There are videos posted by your countrymen showing the now routine calls to genocide against Muslims in Hindustan.

Yet, by dragging USA or China or Pakistan or Bhutan or the Martian colonies into the calculus, the blame apportioned to hindutva is immediately diminished, as if to say, if it wasn't for such and such, then the problem wouldn't exist.

I'm certainly not here to defend USA's global behaviour in a general sense, but at the same time, claiming they have some influence in the currently unfolding Indo-Bangladesh relationship is a harmful narrative to push. I can assure you many youth here are irrevocably confused because of such conspiracy theories.

If you're still not sure, take a look at UK, where recent Indian migrants have exported the Modi calculus en masse to our streets. Countless numbers of Reform candidates are of Indian origin, a party with which they will need to cut off their own noses just to spite Muslims. They are willing to be kicked around by white racists just so they can piggy back on their anti-muslim narrative. It's so pathetic that it needs to be witnessed to even believe it!

Yes we in Bangladesh are aware of what is happening in India and especially West Bengal and Seven Sisters at the same time the Americans are engaged in their own machinations in the region targeted at China that we can also not ignore ... Everything that has happened in the last 2 years in Bangladesh was caused or planned by the Americans but they chose some detestable people to carry out their project which makes them untrustworthy and unreliable ... Many countries have fallen into this trap and it is something Bangladesh needs to be careful of ... At the same time Bangladesh needs to keep a close watch on developments in India ...

During BJP rule, Bangladeshis have reached Arunachal, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur. Where even mainland Hindus need a permit to enter.
