Musk’s establishment of DGE has earned him the admiration of the vast majority of Chinese people.Musk is no idealist...he's a white supremacist fascist zionist cuck charlatan who didn't invent anything that didn't already exist and is a college drop out piss poor coder who failed up his whole life due to white privilege and corporate socialism and gov't handouts.
Throughout China’s long history, there have been many figures like Musk who sought to save the nation by reforming the distribution of social benefits. Examples include Shang Yang(商鞅), Wu Qi(吴起), Wang Anshi(王安石), Zhang Juzheng(张居正), Tan Sitong(谭嗣同), and others.
Some of these individuals succeeded, while others failed. However, regardless of success or failure, they all ultimately met a tragic end.
Take Shang Yang, for instance. He reformed the system by governing the State of Qin through the rule of law, ultimately making Qin a wealthy and powerful state. Yet he was executed by the King of Qin, who had his body torn apart by five horses.
Take Wu Qi, for example. He reformed the aristocratic military system of the State of Chu, and his reforms were successful, but the King of Chu tacitly allowed the aristocrats to shoot him to death with a hail of arrows.
Take Zhang Juzheng, for instance. His fiscal reforms were also successful, but the emperor executed his entire family.
Do you understand? We Chinese know all too well that those who reform the distribution of social benefits are bound to meet a tragic end. This is because the emperor only wants the fruits of their reforms, but in the end, he will use their lives to compensate the interest groups whose interests have been infringed upon.
Musk certainly knows what fate awaits his reforms, and he understands that even if they succeed, Trump will inevitably sacrifice him to appease the interest groups whose interests have been harmed.
Yet Musk still chose to establish DGE, and for that, he deserves our admiration. Throughout our history, there have been many people like Musk who, despite knowing that reform would inevitably cost them and their families their lives, still chose to reform.
That is the idealists.
Even if he is loyal to the United States, not China, even if he is a white supremacist, even if he is a fascist, etc., it only proves that his position is inconsistent with ours. But this does not affect our appreciation for his idealistic work style. His behavior conforms to the Confucian traditional values of "气节".
