A lady from PTI is reported saying that "they can rid province of the terrorists in three months", she further said that "either they (the terrorists) will die or we die" . How is that going to work? Do PTI have beforehand knowledge of whereabouts of terrorists and their facilitators? This is getting serious now, it looks like PTI KP is very much aware of sensitive information and is withholding it from LEAs and Pakistan Military. If this is the case, then this is no more criminal negligence on part of PTI KP but treason.

The lady also seemed to be very fond of PTM "Pashtun Tahafuz Movement". Does PTI - KP fully support PTM and whatever that movement is trying to achieve? Personally I do not understand why there needs to be a Pashtun Tahafuz Movement, when it is simply Pashtuns killing Pashtuns.

Pakistan created the Taliban, nurtured it, armed it, and used it as a proxy in Afghanistan, declaring victory when the Taliban returned to power. The Americans were out. The Indians were out. Finally, after a long time, Pakistan's western border was peaceful, but only for a short time.

Pakistan forgot Afghans were Afghans, and things went to hell. Pakistan's Afghanistan policy is a total failure.

The thing is that, when IK was getting along with the establishment, they were all showing their "Pakistaniyat" and after the fallout they reverted to the "Pashtuniyat". Even if today IK sort of reaches an agreement with the establishment and he gets to be leader again, then people will see how these PTI politicians will fold back and hold back their "Pashtuniyat" to clear their image and present their hubul-watani with Pakistan.

And that's the problem with everyone here in Pakistan, because remember when BB got assassinated, Sindhi people started chanting "Pakistan na khappay" and it was Asif Zardari who after getting the golden ticket went on with his slogan of "Pakistan khappay", because whenever there is some sort of fallout between PPP and establishment, they start doing their "Sindhu-desh" politics. Same is the case for PML-N with the "Jaag Punjabi Jaag" these days just because they will rouse the nationalistic tendencies of the people if they have a fallout with the establishment in the future. I personally find all these lot despicable.

I don't think it's that bad in Sindh, or Kashmir or Punjab

You have slogans sure, but they don't constantly cause fassad or blow things up or kill travellers on busses

You can't really compare the two

The problem we have in the west of Pakistan is the violence and terrorism

You will see pashtuns and Baloch in all parts of Pakistan, and they can educate themselves and grow successful businesses and no one says anything to them

You can't do the same in tribal areas or parts of Balochistan because they will murder the poorest of labourers

We have to call out this animalistic behaviour coming out of KP and Balochistan

And the more you hit TTP and Afghanistan the more shrill and upset the pashunists get
And this is the fundamental reason why Pakistan can't deal with Afghanistan, TTP or Taliban because hurting them upsets to many pashtuns in Pakistan

I'm not saying 100%, but even if it's 30% that's still millions of people bent out of shape because Pakistan is hunting TTP and Afghans

And I hate saying this, but Pakistan needs to become a hard state and have extraordinary surveillance of its citizens, similar to what Israel and the UAE have, to root out the TTP collaborators.

The ISI relies heavily on HUMINT, there needs to be a much bigger focus on SIGINT.

I am not even surprised. The kind of shit that establishment has pulled with PTI and basically dismantled their top leadership, no wonder ret@rds like her have space to push their narrative now.

I am not in any way a supporter of this bullshit but at the end of the day, establishment basically gave a middle finger to an entire ethnic group.

That is not true. I am a non Pashtun who is from the Pashtun heartland of Balochistan ( Pishin - Killa Abdullah ), and not once in my life I have faced anything like that.

You are part of the problem, you are knowingly or unknowingly pushing the narrative that enemies of Pakistan want to be pushed.

TTP and BLA dont represent entire ethnic groups. If they do, you already have lost then.

This is my biggest critique of the establishment that, they themselves having power and control over the decades have allowed this to happen and did nothing. They never abolished the feudal system from the beginning either. I mean they could have already done it if they wanted to, but choosing not to do it and being beneficiaries with their shady deals running the whole system that is a cancer right now... makes the establishment more complicit.
