Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Even within BJP & RSS, people aren't paying any heed to it.

Source? Or just your wishful thinking as you are burning at the notion that someone as experianced as the former head of teh Indian Army realises force against Pakistan will not work...

Come on, give me one quote from a senior RSS/BJP leader that contradicts.

I'll wait...

Former Indian army chief backs RSS leader's call for engaging in dialogue with Pakistan

Imagine being fully invested into the modi project only for the vanguard to decide actually let's have people to people contacts, having been the biggest voices against this claiming how they are all traitors, just like that a u-turn, it's not even let's start a dialogue, they went into full gushing mode about people to people...... I am reminded of the recent cricket dramas

I think it's become apparent that there is no tolerance or breathing space for India's absurd unachievable foreign policy, not only has Pakistan significantly changed Indians bad equations, they have no takers, the cost benefit equation for the rest of the world is forcing India to change its ways.

I am actually surprised that they realized this much more quickly than I would have thought, it actually seems pragmatic.

I think you give lip service to being open-minded about it as after all Pakistan has previously asked for dialogue however however, if they maintain operation Cind is still open then it's a non-starter, as well as abeyance of the iwt.

In that context you don't embrace gushy and mushy talk

Lets not get emotional.

Be practical and smart in statecraft.

Pakistan would do well to extend an arm of friendship provided India backtracks on IWT stance.

But then they need to formally end their stance of being in a state of war, otherwise how can you talk mushy friendship.

However I do agree with your principle, however Pakistan's geopolitical mix is in fact currently quite varied and diverse, Turkey Azerbaijan Iran Saudis, Bangladesh to an extent. And then you have the recent world Bank classification all directionally point to Pakistan forging a new path.

You have to wonder why such a warm gesture is coming from the RSS, I am suspecting that they are trying to use a soft power approach so that South Asia does not become a lonely place for India.

What is the point of being the regional power if you have nowhere to project it to.

Better to keep it minimal formal and very cautious
