I have two theories behind this piece by CBS and Lindsay Gayham accusation specifically when he mentioned that the negotiations should not be held in Pakistan,

1. Israel wants to change the venue, so they can take out Iranian negotiators who are proving to be steel nerved and showing better statesmanship and negotiation skills than their counterparts. They won't dare doing it in Pakistan as we provide full door-to-door security to iranian teams.

2. Modi sucked fatherlands straw to pull the strings of their baby sex clients in the US government, to sideline Pakistan to stoke the tiny ego of 56 inch bore motherland.

But really it's because they have failed to isolate Pakistan, if anything Pakistan has established vital alliances with multiple states

Pakistan has blocked them from the north west completely

Pakistan is actively taking anti Indian actions and actively reaching out to multiple states to support anti Indian actions

Pakistan is arming up with increasingly more destructive weapons

In conflict Pakistan has humiliated and hurt India badly

And this going on is not in India's interest, India has ended up with permanent enmity with Pakistan, and Pakistan blocks Indians aspirations

My brothers, cousins and kin. This is reality hitting them and knowing Pakistan is arming itself to the teeth and is still a very young nation by global standards. It has time and they have to live next door to it. With Chinese friendship this makes matters more stark for them i.e. that conflict is going to be very bad for them, as will aggressive moves.
Well, should we trust them, f*ck no. Smile and just say yes and carry on with plans.
