$2,000 per month for a soldier in Ukraine army
Excluding weapons, military gears
So about $12 billion per year
Not $1 trillion

Costs more than that now. Ukraine has massive inflation after receiving a lot of Western money.

What is a lot?
The US hasn’t given much since months.

Not bad
One thing the russians are good at: producing weapons en mass for wars.
If they just use a portion of their time to make more useful things like cars, fridges or rice cookers.

Back in the 90s the US used to make TVs, microwaves, fridges. Today there's not a single American brand TV, microwave, fridge. When it comes to consumer electronics Western people can never compete with East Asians.

Wow... I must admire your math skills.
But you forgot the most critical and money consuming thing... Training.

It's not only salary. A soldier requires helmet, vest, boots, equipment costing more than 10,000 dollars. 12 billion is definitely not enough. The US spent trillions in Iraq and Afghanistan with relatively few soldiers.

Why should the US make TVs, shoes or underwear? I don’t understand the logics. How much you get when making microwave? Not much. You work hard hours, but get pennies. Google pays $300,000 for software engineer. You sit in a aircon office, get insane money. Your choice.

It's a pity.
I bet most of the Ukrainians know this they were deceived and were used by Western powers.

What about training expenses?

A blatant lie with absolutely no evidence to support such a claim. The US warned Russia about an imminent ISIS attack two weeks prior.

Russia is the same country that lied about their intention to invade Ukraine, and the US was warning about it for weeks.

Russia is a mob state.

I said previously excluding weapons and military gears. That’s extra costs.

Well, the US plays a different league.
The US army pays much higher wage. Let say you are 18y joining the army you start with E1 salery $1,500 per month. With automatic rise, E2, E3 every 6-9 month period, you get $2,000 after 2y. Then lots free benefits come on top. Free housing, free healthcare, free education, cheap supermarkets, free benefits for your wife, kids.
If war then you get extra fighting bonus, death bonus, wounded bonus. Then $1 trillion is not much.
