This is how much I pay

1Kg = 2.2 lbs
14.50 AUD = 10.38 USD

So 1 pound of ground beef (We call it mince here) would be around 4.7 USD a pound, and that's not discounted and Woolworth is on the expensive end of things, I can probably get the ground beef cheaper in my local butcher

It's just regular ground beef. 85% lean. And I am surrounded by cattle ranches here.

Beef prices continue to trend upwards.
