There was a very nice outdoor art show on the grounds of the County Court House hosted by the Phippen Art Museum. Temps were in the upper 70s / very low 80s. Just a nice day to be together and that was followed by a very nice lunch at a local family-owned cafe.

After an 0-19 record in playoff games where the Golden Knights were 3+ goals down and never came back to win, that streak was snapped tonight on home ice. And Colorado's streak was snapped as well (79-0 when leading by 3+ goals) including this being the first time in a couple hundred games where they lost 3 in a row.

Colorado scored 3 quick goals. Vegas regrouped and took Game 3 5-3. Vegas is clearly playing just like they did in 2023 even though only 4 of the original misfits remain with the team. They could close it out Tuesday night in Vegas.

I made friends with 2 Vietnam vets during my university days - both were very good friends - they knew l was living alone and they would invite me for memorial day bbq or thanksgiving.
 
Well, the weather guessers said no rain for our area of the state. Everything would be well to the east of us.

They were wrong.

We not only got rain, hail was added as a bonus.

We got a follow-up, and larger, blast later in the afternoon. With even more hail than the earlier one.

Up in Flagstaff, the San Francisco Peaks received snow. Judging by the video shown by the weather babe, it had to be at least a couple of inches if not more.

Considering our drought conditions and extreme fire danger, rain is welcome.

Will Vest gave up a grand slam today. His ERA is now over 7.00.

Jansen has a ERA over 5.00.

Finnegan is the only one doing ok.

Tigers lose 10-6 to the Angels.

Tomorrow the Tigers can find themselves in last place in the American League if they loose to L.A. Angles again.
